I’ve been absent a while – and I have a really good excuse: My book is done and will be out some time in the next couple of months. It’ll be called, I think, “Stop Lying: Getting Un-Lost and Un-Stuck in your Life”. Stay tuned!
Meanwhile I found this in the NY Times. I’m posting it here because it cuts through so much hype with some simple data. Anyone who’s been a patient or even dinner guest of mine knows how I value data. Pay special attention to the last few paragraphs about PTSD and interpersonal psychotherapy as compared with cognitive-behavioral or pure behavioral intervention. Notice which brings the most change, the most relief.
